The excitement is building for this year’s Fayette County Pitch Contest, as the Preliminary Round takes place Tuesday, October 21, from 5:00–8:00 PM at Launch Fayette, located inside the Center of Innovation in Peachtree City.
Free and open to the public, this community event will feature up to 20 entrepreneurs presenting their business ideas for a chance to advance to the Final Round on November 18 at Starr’s Mill High School Auditorium. Attendees can enjoy complimentary pizza and witness the energy of Fayette’s startup scene in action.
During the prelims, each entrepreneur will deliver a concise pitch to a panel of local business leaders, who will evaluate their concepts and select the top five finalists to compete in November’s Shark Tank-style finale.
“This round is where the magic begins,” said Jason Bass, event co-organizer and founder of Jason Hunter Design. “It’s a chance to see brand-new ideas, hear the passion behind them, and watch our local entrepreneurs step into the spotlight.”
The Fayette County Pitch Contest is hosted by the Fayette Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Launch Fayette and Jason Hunter Design, as part of the StartUp Fayette initiative — a program dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship, innovation, and community growth across Fayette County.
Applications for the 2025 Pitch Contest remain open through midnight on October 16 at startupfayette.org.
