Fayette Samaritans, a nonprofit serving families in need across Fayette County, is asking for community support to restock its pantry this October. The group provides food, clothing, and emergency assistance to local residents and depends on monthly donations to keep shelves filled.
Most-needed items include:
- Canned chicken
- Canned fruit
- Boxed mac and cheese
- Boxed mashed potatoes
- Rice (1–2 pounds)
- Pasta sauce
- Corn
- Pancake mix
- Syrup
- Feminine products (pads and tampons)
Volunteers are also needed to help in the office, clothes closet, and food pantry. Each shift is one morning a week from 9 a.m. to noon.
Donations can be dropped off at Fayette Samaritans, 126 Hickory Road in Fayetteville. For more information, call 770-719-2707.
“Whatever you did for one of the least of these, you did for me,” the group reminded supporters, quoting Matthew 25:45.
