Fayetteville, GA — The Fayette County NAACP proudly announces a refreshed and reimagined version of its annual Freedom Fund Banquet, now scheduled for Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 6:00 to 10:00 PM at the elegant Shipyard at Trilith in Fayetteville, Georgia.

With a new date, new venue, and an elevated experience, this year’s banquet promises to be a night to remember. The theme, “Unmasking Freedom: A Night of Truth and Triumph,” will guide a powerful evening of reflection, celebration, and forward-looking community engagement.

Guests will enjoy a formal Black & White Masquerade Ball, featuring:

 – Cocktail hour to open the evening

 – A full-course seated dinner 

– Inspirational guest speakers 

– Live band and DJ entertainment

– Dancing 

– A curated silent auction supporting local initiatives

“This banquet is more than a fundraiser, it’s a celebration of resilience, truth, and community transformation,” said Kevin Pratt, President of the Fayette County NAACP. “By unmasking injustice and elevating our shared triumphs, we reaffirm our commitment to equity and progress across Fayette County.”

The Freedom Fund Banquet serves as the NAACP’s primary fundraising event, with proceeds supporting youth development programs, civic engagement, voter education, health equity, and justice advocacy in the local community.
