Sandy Creek GraphComm honored for print excellence

The Sandy Creek High Graphic Communications Program (GraphComm) received several recognitions at the Printing & Imaging Association of Georgia’s (PIAG) annual imPRESS Awards Banquet. 

Emily Dykes was recognized for competing the SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference in June in Pin Design where she placed 8th in the nation. 

Abby Paver, Sandy Creek Class of 2022 and a GraphComm alumna, received her fourth-consecutive scholarship towards her degree in graphic communications at Kennesaw State University. This year’s award of $5,000 brings her four-year total from PIAG to $18,500. 

Sandy Creek GraphComm earned six “Best of Category” recognitions in the 2025 Print Excellence Competition for design and printing work through the school-based enterprise Patriot Graphics.
