Peachtree City, GA, June 14, 2025 — Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.® Phi Pi Omega Chapter, the local chapter proudly serving Coweta and Fayette counties, will commemorate its twenty-fifth anniversary with a chapter anniversary celebration recognizing a Sensational Silver Year of Service and Sisterhood. Established on June 10, 2000, Phi Pi Omega has dedicated itself to improving the quality of life for residents in the areas of education, health, and social justice. Starting from humble beginning as one of the smallest chapters in the Atlanta metropolitan area, Phi Pi Omega’s 19 charter members, known as the 19 Fabulous Pearls, have witnessed tremendous membership growth in the past two decades. The chapter now boasts 257 active members. Many charter members remain active in the chapter today, a testament to their ongoing commitment to the shared vision for a legacy of service created in the spirit of the sorority’s illustrious founders.
The chapter anniversary celebration motto, Igniting Inspirational Sisterhood and Impactful Service 25 Years and Beyond, reflects an intentional desire to foster a strong, uplifting community among women, make a meaningful difference through service, and continue Phi Pi Omega’s rich legacy well into the future.
“The Phi Pi Omega Chapter has been dedicated to service and sisterhood:
We do the ordinary in an extraordinary manner. And we engage our community by promoting a loving sisterhood while providing excellent service to the residents of Coweta and Fayette Counties. Standing on a quarter-century of commitment, we take immense pride in commemorating 25 years of service. Our legacy is not just in the years behind us, but in the service we provide and the impact we will demonstrate for the next 25 years.” Tiffany Callaway Ferrell, Chapter President.
Reflecting on the last twenty-five years, Phi Pi Omega is proud of the contribution it has made to the community and remains committed to its mission of service to all mankind. To date, the chapter has invested countless hours of service to residents of all ages and has implemented numerous programs in support of a wide range of topics related to family and community empowerment.
“Service is more than just hours logged—it is the impact we create, the lives we touch, and the communities we strengthen. Every act of service, big or small, is an opportunity to make a difference, to inspire change, and to leave a lasting legacy.” Kimberly Collins Jones, First Vice President and Program Chairman
More than 200 attendees are expected to attend this illustrious occasion, including local dignitaries and sorority leaders. The silver anniversary celebration will be a memorable afternoon of warmth, reflection, and joy, where legacy, sisterhood, and purpose take center stage.
