Robert “Mike” Forlines, Sr., age 89, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2025, in Sharpsburg, GA. Born on December 27, 1935, in Bluefield, West Virginia, he was the beloved son of the late Robert E. Forlines and Lillian M. Shelton. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Patricia Forlines.   Mike had a career working for Delta Air Lines for 26 years. After retiring from the Delta Air Lines, he continued his service to others by working at Taylor Exterminating until he was 85 years old.  Mike is survived by his son; Robert (Annette) Forlines; daughter Beverly (Steve) McElveen. In addition to his immediate family, Mike leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories with his grandchildren: Jade (Cody) Sapp, Holland Forlines, Samantha McElveen, and Riley McElveen. He was also blessed with four great-grandsons who were the apple of his eye. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.  Mike will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. His legacy of kindness, service, and humor will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
