Christopher Paul Moore, 49, went home to our Heavenly Father unexpectedly on Thursday, March 6, 2025. He was born in St. Louis, Missouri, Wednesday, January 14, 1976.
Chris grew up in Fayetteville, Georgia, where he lived and worked. He graduated from Sandy Creek High School in Tyrone, Georgia. Chris was brilliant at his job where he helped run and grow the family small security firm. He worked with his mom, dad, and sister his entire life designing and installing high end security systems. Chris and Kate (as he referred to his sister) were a brother and sister team that worked together every day to run the family business. Many of his past and current employees and clients held a special place in his heart, becoming cherished and trusted friends.
Throughout Chris’s childhood he spent summers and holidays in Illinois where most of his mother’s family lives. He was deeply bonded with the Shubert family. As an adult he cherished the time he spent hunting and spending time with family and friends.
Chris is preceded in death by his grandparents on both sides and an uncle that he was extremely close to, Craig Shubert, along with other extended family members. Chris will always be remembered with much love by his Mom and Dad, Sharon and Paul Moore; sister Katie Connolly and her husband, Jason Connolly; his niece and nephew, Emmy and Taylor Connolly; his closest Uncle and Aunt, Dennis and Sany Shubert and a long list of deeply-saddened aunts, uncles, and extended family. He also leaves behind his beloved pets, King, Precious, and Bella who are now missing their favorite person.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Fayetteville, with Pastor Justin officiating. Visitation will take place prior to the service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the funeral home. An additional service will be held in Illinois as we lay Chris’s ashes to rest.
