It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Noemi Floyd, a beloved wife, mother, sister, aunt, and friend. Noemi departed this life on February 13, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, compassion, and cherished memories. Noemi died from an unexpected cancer discovering.

Noemi was the devoted wife of James H. Floyd III, with whom she shared a life filled with unwavering love and partnership. They were married for 33 wonderful years. Together, they raised two wonderful children, James H. Floyd IV and Jessica H. Floyd, who were her pride and joy.

Born to the late Clara Cosme and Manuel Santana, Noemi was a source of light and strength to her family. She is survived by her loving sister, Clara Santana, and her brother-in-law, Angel Rodriguez, who were always by her side through life’s many chapters.

Noemi was a LTJG Navy Nurse and retired from the Naval Hospital Jacksonville. She was also a graduate of Lee University Church of God and a devout Christian whose faith guided her throughout her life.

Noemi loved to travel and experience world travel with her family, creating memories that they will cherish forever.

Noemi was a treasured aunt to her nieces Kaylie Hicks, Estela Rodriguez, and Bea Rivera, and to her nephews Angel Rodriguez, Ramon Rodriguez, and Clayton Hicks. Her warmth, kindness, and wisdom left an indelible mark on their lives, and she will forever remain in their hearts.

Her family and friends will remember Noemi for her selflessness, her infectious smile, and her unwavering dedication to those she loved. She touched the lives of everyone she met, and her memory will live on as a beacon of love and resilience.

The memorial service will be at Parrott Funeral Home in Fairburn, GA, on Monday, February 24th, at 2 pm. The burial service will be at the Jacksonville, FL National Cemetery on Wednesday, February 26th, at 1 pm. Friends and family are invited to gather in celebration of Noemi’s life and the love she brought to all who knew her.
