Join Main Street Fayetteville and your favorite downtown businesses on Saturday, February 15, as we kick off our first-ever Galantine’s & Bros, a fun event for both men and women! It is also the kickoff for our inaugural 3rd Saturday Event Series, which will continue throughout the year.
All over Downtown Fayetteville, businesses will offer food and drink specials, shopping specials, happy hour events, and other Valentine’s-themed activities. On the Courthouse Lawn from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Art of Landscaping will offer flower crowns participants can make themselves, and Main Street Fayetteville will hand out Cupid Word Search cards, which participants can complete for a chance to win great prizes. Copies of the Galantine’s & Bros event timeline and locations map along with Cupid Word Search cards will be available from the Main Street Fayetteville tent and on the Main Street Fayetteville Facebook page, @mainstreetfayettevillega.
Cupid Word Search clues will be found at business locations around the downtown district, some outside the businesses and some on the inside.
Galantine’s & Bros continues into the afternoon and evening, starting with the first-ever Downtown Happy Hour from 3-5 p.m. Special Valentine’s-themed beverages will be featured at many establishments. Beverages must be contained in approved Entertainment District cups.
“Galantine’s & Bros is, of course, an expansion of the Galentine’s Day events we hosted in previous years,” said Main Street Fayetteville Program Manager Michele Holmes. “We hope people will come early and stay late, because there will be so much happening in Downtown Fayetteville that day.”
