Creighton Stanley Warren, Jr., a devoted family man and accomplished electrical engineer, passed away peacefully on January 28, 2025, in Fayetteville, Georgia, just days shy of his 92nd birthday. Born on February 1, 1933, in Chicago, Illinois, Creighton lived a life marked by dedication to his family, his work, and his passions.
Creighton proudly served his country in the United States Army before embarking on a distinguished career as an Electrical Engineer with NCR, Inc. His professional life was characterized by innovation and commitment, earning him the respect and admiration of colleagues and friends alike.
Beyond his professional achievements, Creighton found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He was an avid gardener, nurturing both plants and the souls of those around him with equal care. A skilled Bridge player, he relished the strategic challenges of the game and the camaraderie it fostered. Creighton also had a passion for coaching soccer, where he inspired young athletes with his enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
Creighton was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Mary Cay Hannan Warren; his parents, Creighton Stanley Warren, Sr. and Helen Elizabeth Willi Warren; and his sister, Roberta Warren. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his surviving family: his sons, Creighton (Michele) Warren, III, Bill Warren, John (Betty) Warren, and Michael (Jennifer) Warren; his grandchildren, C.J. Warren, Anne Warren, Claire Warren, Maddox Warren, Amanda Warren, Quique De Castro, Sofia De Castro, and Margot De Castro; and his sister, Donna Jean Warren.
Creighton Stanley Warren, Jr. will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his contributions to his field, and his zest for life. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Peachtree City. Creighton will be laid to rest at Westminster Memorial Gardens, Peachtree City following the service. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM prior to the service at Mowell Funeral Home, Peachtree City.
