Hugh Bennett Harrison, 87, of Fayetteville, passed away on August 24, 2024. He was born on January 13, 1937, in Coal Mountain, Georgia, to the late Monroe and Wynelle Harrison.
Hugh was a proud Delta Air Lines employee, who committed over 39+ years of his life as a Pre-Flight Inspector.
Hugh is preceded in death by his loving wife, Peggy Harison; brother, Tommy Harrison; son Hugh Harrison, Jr.; son John David Harrison; and daughter Laura Harrison.
He is survived by his daughters, Karen (George) Sendelbach, and Dana Lewis; grandchildren, Aimee Morris, Jonathan Morris, Jennifer (Mike) Rohde, George (Angelle) Sendelbach, Ambrose (Samantha) Harrison, Megan Brooks and Joshua Lewis; nine great-grandchildren; sisters Joann Fogleman and Linda Walton; as well as extended family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 31, 2024, at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Peachtree City. Interment will follow the service at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park.
