Joan Carlton Busey, 90, of Fayetteville, Georgia, passed away on June 16, 2024. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and resided in Fayette County most of her life.

Joan is preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Thomas Jesse Busey, sister, Gail Carlton, parents William B. and Hazel Carlton; and son, William Carlton Busey. She is survived by her daughter, Joan Hellandsjo; son, Tom (Ann) Busey; and grandchildren, Erica, Carlton, Katie, Thomas IV, and Clare; as well as extended family and friends.

A memorial mass will be held on Monday, June 24, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Peachtree City. Inurnment will follow the service at West View Cemetery, Atlanta.
