Deanna Walker placed 2nd for Senior Individual Performance. Chase Richardson, Blake Davis, Damion Hodrick, and Avery Moran placed 3rd for Senior Group Documentary.

Deisy Anaya Plascencia and Glory-Victoria Fortuchang earned honorable mention for Senior Group Exhibit.

The theme for the contest was Turning Points in History. The students researched a variety of topics and presented their findings creatively through performances, website design, and exhibits. Sponsors Patience Douglas, Dr. Sharon Lukiri, Joy Carter, and Sid Gotell supported the students throughout the process.

The Patriots who placed first and second at the state level will compete in Nationals at the University of Maryland in June.
