Sandy Creek wins at SkillsUSA state

An individual gold medal highlighted another strong showing for Sandy Creek High at the 2024 SkillsUSA State Leadership and Skills Conference.

Aniya Eason won 1st place in Customer Service and will advance to the national competition this June.

Jawanza Blue and Brooklyn Turner captured the bronze in 3-D Visualization and Animation.

The Patriots were also honored as a Silver Chapter of Distinction, marking the tenth consecutive year they were recognized in the Chapter Excellence Program.

Sandy Creek brought a contingent of 22 students to compete in a wide variety of contests to demonstrate and sharpen their skills. Other students competed in contests including: Pin Design, T-Shirt Design, Promotional Bulletin Board Design, Photography, Extemporaneous Speaking, Job Interview, Community Service, Short Film, Digital Cinema, and Television Production.
