The Senoia United Methodist Church, located at 229 Bridge Street in historic Senoia (at the intersection of Seavy and Bridge Streets). Bonnie Maveragames was one of the many donors who gave blood at the November 6th, 2023 blood drive at the Senoia United Methodist Church. You, too, can make a difference in the lives of others by donating at the February 5th drive at the local church.

The American Red Cross is facing an emergency blood shortage as it experiences the lowest number of people giving blood in the last 20 years. Blood and platelet donations are needed now to help alleviate the shortage and ensure lifesaving medical procedures proceed without delay.

You can help resolve this problem by donating at the February 5th blood drive at the Senoia United Methodist Church from 1:00 – 5:00 pm.

Please make an appointment now by either signing up online (http://www.redcrossblood.org/give) or by calling 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767). NOTE: If the appointment schedule is full, walk-ins may not be able to donate. Then simply come to the blood drive at the Senoia United Methodist Church on Monday, February 5th just a few minutes before your reserved time. It’s as simple as that!

The Senoia Optimist Club and the Senoia United Methodist Church work together to host the blood drives every 3 months one the first Monday of the 3rd month. After the upcoming drive on February 5th, the next drive is scheduled for May 6th.

Please sign up as soon as possible to be able to make a life-saving donation on February 5thIf you are unable to give, you are encouraged to notify others who may be able to donate. One blood donation can help save up to three lives.

The “famous” grilled cheese sandwiches served at the Senoia blood drives are planned to be served again at the upcoming blood drive, along with the snacks and drinks provided by the Red Cross. Come and enjoy!

The Senoia United Methodist Church is in the historic district of Senoia and is located at 229 Bridge Street. It is at the intersection of Seavy and Bridge Streets. For those not familiar with the area, you can turn east at the downtown intersection of Main Street and Seavy Street, and go past Matt’s Smalltown Pizza and the Veranda Bed & Breakfast towards the Seavy Street City Park or State Highway 85. The church is on the right – only about 2 blocks east of Main Street. Please enter through the front of the sanctuary on Bridge Street in order to give blood.
