0Oak Grove Elementary continued a Thanksgiving tradition with the T-Shirts for Turkeys fundraiser helping families in need.
For a $10 donation, contributors get a special shirt, and the funds support a collaboration between the Real Life Center and Joy FM. The monetary donations are turned into actual turkeys for families to have on Thanksgiving, and more than 50 families will receive turkeys this year thanks to the team up.
Early Intervention Specialist Kayla Johnson is proud to be a part of the 7-year tradition.
