Thursday, July 27th, 2023, 11:00am —Readers & Writers Room

Bring Your Own Book is a game of borrowed phrases. Players take turns drawing from a deck of prompts, then race to find text to take way out of context. Use your own book (or better yet, pick out a library book) to find the best phrase, or funniest line, that fits. Can you find the most humorous “dialogue in an action movie” in a math textbook or the cleverest idea for “lyrics from a country western song” in a cozy murder mystery? This event is free and open to the public. For ages 18+. Registration is recommended, but not required. Register at https://peachtreecitylibrary.eventbrite.com
