Fayetteville police activity: Pointing pistol, stalking, multiple drug charges, Harbor Club Lane burglary

A Fayetteville man is in jail after allegedly threatening someone with a semi-automatic pistol.

According to police reports, the incident occurred the afternoon of June 12 at a commercial facility on Industrial Way, just off South Jeff Davis Drive. Jonathan Allen, 35, was charged with aggravated assault for pointing his weapon at the victim.

In a separate incident, a Fayetteville man was arrested for aggravated stalking. The suspect is Jordan Mosley, 18, who “in violation of a condition of pretrial release, followed and placed victim under surveillance without victim’s knowledge for the purpose of harassing and intimidating him,” according to a police report.

A June 13 arrest on East Georgia Avenue yielded multiple drug charges. Jesse Lightning, 29, of Atlanta was apprehended at about 2:30 a.m. for, among other things, allegedly trafficking MDMA, a Schedule II drug.

He was charged with five counts of drug possession/sale/manufacture and one count each of trafficking in illegal drugs and possession of a firearm in commission of a crime. All of those are felonies. He also was charged with obstruction of an officer.

Meanwhile, police are investigating a burglary that took place June 12 at a residence on Harbor Club Lane in Fayetteville. The unknown offenders took about $1,800 in cash and personal property, according to a police report.
