Jennings White, (at left) and Rodney Riggs, both veterans of the United States Marine Corps participated in the Newnan High School “VetConnect” recently. The Marines were among a number of veterans from the military services who were available to share their
own experiences of military service and to answer questions that the students might
have. Riggs and White, Newnan residents, are both members and leaders in the
Sgt Clyde Thomason Medal of Honor Detachment #1325 that serves both Coweta
and Fayette counties.
