A unique date inspired a slate of creative activities. On Tuesday, February 22, 2022 (2-22-22), schools around the county celebrated “Twosday” with a bunch of two-themed fun.

At Cleveland Elementary, the Crocodiles celebrated with tutus, ties, and twin outfits, and Fayetteville Elementary had twins all over the school. Sara Harp Minter added in some tactile fun with kindergarteners molding Play-Doh into the number 2, and Burch 2nd graders built towers using two of everything. Everyone at Inman Elementary was encouraged to spread kindness, and they got an extra reminder with “Peace – Love – Soar” shirts provided by the school’s PTO. At Oak Grove Elementary, 4th graders dressed as themselves in 22 years, with plenty of future athletes, entertainers, and business leaders among them.

It was a once-in-a-lifetime date, and now the students will have memories they’ll treasure for a lifetime!
