The third of four people charged with entering multiple autos in Fayette County in September is in custody. Two of the three were arrested in October and the fourth is awaiting extradition to Fayette.

Franklin Q. Sapp, 17, of Jonesboro, was charged with seven counts of entering auto, reckless conduct and possession of a firearm/knife during the commission of a crime, according to Fayette County Jail records.

Arrested on Oct. 28, 2021, on the same charges were Terrell D. Dailey, 23, of Bainbridge, and Zycheria Russ, 20, also of Bainbridge, according to Sheriff Barry Babb, adding that both were subsequently extradited to other jurisdictions to face charges for other crimes.

The fourth person, 19-year-old Bainbridge resident Solomon T. Cooper, is awaiting extradition to Fayette County on the same charges as Sapp, Dailey and Russ, Babb said.

Babb said the entering auto incidents involving seven vehicles occurred on Sept. 29, 2021 at four locations, including three at the Timberlake subdivision off Redwine Road and the fourth at a residence on Ga. Highway 85 South.

Various items were stolen, and with some vehicles being rummaged, Babb noted.

It was also at one of the locations that a pistol was fired, though it was not fired at an individual, Babb added.

In addition to the charges from the sheriff’s office, Russ and Dailey were also charged with four counts of entering auto by the Fayetteville Police Department, Babb said.
