The Friends of the Fayette County Public Library (FFCPL) invites you to join us for our first annual Art and Lit Community Event benefitting the Fayette County Public Library.

Come and view over 50 pieces of art from local artists. Each piece of art has been paired with a book that serves as the inspiration for the piece, and each book and art piece will be available for purchase as part of a silent auction that day.

Art can be viewed online now at https://www.ffcpl.org/art-and-literature-entries-for-2021, and then viewed and bid on from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, November 13 in the Meeting Room at the Fayette County Public Library.

Winners of each auction will be contacted at 3 p.m. and art should be picked up by the winners by 5 p.m. that day.

Art pieces on display will include oil paintings, watercolor, mixed media, digital media pieces, sculpture, woodworking, jewelry, and more. We have pieces with books that all ages — children, teens and adults — will enjoy. Come see what this amazing variety of artists has to show and take home your own piece of literature-inspired art.

All purchases directly support the Fayette County Public Library and are tax-deductible. Questions and interest can be sent to Michele Simpson at friends@ffcpl.org. We hope to see you there.
