Dylan John Autera, age 27, of Peachtree City, passed away peacefully in his sleep on April 1, 2021.

Dylan grew up in Fayette County and graduated from Starr’s Mill High School, where he played basketball and baseball, but his true passion was football.

His senior year he was the quarterback of his high school team and some of his favorite memories were out on the football field. Dylan relished his time in high school.

He attended Auburn University where he graduated from the business program with honors with a degree in finance in 2017. He was a member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity.

He was currently a student at Charleston School of Law and was working towards his LLM in taxation at Georgetown Law School, where he achieved the Dean’s List and earned CALI awards as the top student in courses ranging from English Legal History to Evidence.

Dylan was known for his larger-than-life smile, his loud laughter, and his care-free spirt. He had an enduring love for his family, especially his sister Alexis, his beloved boxer Maverick, and his good friends. He loved boating, surfing, and wakeboarding during his summers at Lake Martin, along with entertaining all of his friends.

Dylan also had a great sense of style, his own unique style. Dylan and his sister, Alexis, were inseparable and cherished their time together.

Dylan is survived by his father, Mathew John Autera, his mother, Traci Kalish Autera, his sister, Alexis Nicole Autera, his grandparents, Robert and Mary Ann Kalish, Susan Cobb, and Salvatore Autera, and his aunt, Natalie Weiss and preceded in death his Uncle, Jeffrey Kalish.
