A Peachtree City woman has been charged with prostitution and masturbation for hire stemming from incidents at a massage business in the Peachtree Crossing Shopping Center on Ga. Highway 54.
Minru Zhang, 32, was charged with one count of prostitution and two counts of masturbation for hire, both misdemeanors, according to Fayette County Jail records.
Peachtree City Police Department spokesman Brad Williams said a trained undercover officer from another jurisdiction entered the Peach Massage store on Sept. 30, and during the massage had his genitals briefly caressed but without any solicitation made by Zhang.
The undercover officer returned to the store on Oct. 6, again having his genitals briefly caressed during the massage, along with receiving a solicitation, Williams said.
Police obtained search warrants and Zhang was subsequently arrested, Williams noted, adding that the prostitution charge stemmed from the solicitation.
Police, in conjunction with federal Homeland Security, began the investigation of the business in February, but had put it on hold in March due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
As for the status of the investigation, Williams said it is ongoing.

Sex work should be decriminalized because with sex trafficking it makes people less likely to get help from the police because the sex workers are afraid of getting arrested.

First visit – was without any solicitation. Second visit – received a solicitation. Both are victims I guess since neither were probably wearing a mask nor did they keep any social distancing.
Why do we waste time and police and court resources on stuff like this. Who cares? Who is hurt? What difference does it make if we prosecute these people or leave them alone? Huh? Please tell me.
If you think you are protecting your kids from sex info by arresting people like this, you may be wrong, you may be a religious zealot, you may be a redneck. Get real and understand sex info is available to 7 and 8 year olds 24/7 and just adjust and move on.
If your goal is to change other people’s behavior about sex for sale – you are climbing a very tall cliff. If you need to do that – run for political office and join the control freaks at the state and national level. I’d rather not have preachy little people dogging me, but do it you must. I will ignore it as I must.
What would be the problem if we just let sexual transactions between 2 adults occur naturally – with or without money involved? How would that diminish your life? What would be so wrong about that? You must know its gonna happen anyway, so what’s so important about getting the police into it?
