Newnan couple to be honored Sunday

The Rev’d Canon Charles (Chuck) and Nancy Shores will be honored during morning services at the Cathedral of Christ the King on Sunday, July 12 at 10:00 a.m. as the congregation observes “Chuck and Nancy Shores Day.”

The Shores have been a vital part of the church for many years with Father Shores serving as a priest-in-residence at the church and with Mrs. Shores serving as a Commissioned Minister of Congregational Care. The Shores are retiring and relocating to Alabama.

Father Shores, who is known for his humor, will be preaching and serving as the Celebrant at Holy Eucharist. The church is located on Highway 34 between Thomas Crossroads and the Hwy 34/54 intersection and Thomas Crossroads. The Livestream may be accessed at www.ctk.life.
