Fayetteville City Hall is now open to the public Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is suggested, but not required, that those entering City Hall wear a mask.

Exceptions to the general re-opening will occur with the Water Department, Occupational Tax division and Municipal Court.

The Water Department will be open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., though service agreements will not be taken after 4:30 p.m.

The Occupational Tax division will be open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. No new customers will be seen after 4:30 p.m.

Municipal Court hours of operation will continue to be Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The court will be closed on Fridays.

Court sessions are held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays beginning at 8 a.m.

Both face masks and temperature checks are required before admittance to the building.

Also pertaining to Municipal Court, no purses or bags will be allowed in the facility. Defendants are allowed to bring small personal items such as pens, Kleenex, hand sanitizer and clear bottled water. Each person will be given a small, clear bag to put their items into when entering the courtroom.

If those coming to court or anyone in the household have symptoms of Covid-19, has a compromised immune system, is over age 65 or has small children with no access to childcare, they are advised to contact the court to ask for a continuance.
