John and Kelly Epps, Newnan, spent a day in preparation and a Saturday in the kitchen of the Cathedral of Christ the King, Sharpsburg, GA, preparing about 36 meals to be distributed to a number of elderly people at risk who are shut-in during the pandemic.

Each meal prepared provides from two to four servings for a potential of 144 servings. Both have restaurant experience.

Others from Christ the King  who assisted in supplying materials or providing services included Brian and Jennifer Hergesell, Newnan; Cassia Epps, Newan; Seth, Jocelyn and Lila McGee, Peachtree City; Deanna Roberts, Fayetteville; and a number of people from the church who assisted in the purchase and delivery of food.
