Kids moon security guard in The Avenue —

Three people wearing masks during an entering auto incident off Redwine Road are being sought by Fayette County deputies.

Reported Sept. 30, the incident occurred at a residence on Highgrove Drive off Redwine Road south of Fayetteville.

Sheriff Barry Babb said a security camera at the residence showed three people in dark clothing and wearing masks exiting a white Dodge pick-up. They approached the unlocked vehicle and stole a wallet.

A burglary was reported on Winter Valley Court southeast of Fayetteville on Sept. 27.

A door at an unoccupied house was forced open and the house was rummaged, with a walk-through determining that nothing had been stolen, Babb said.

Also in unincorporated Fayette, a vehicle was entered at a residence on Stillbrook Way in northeast Fayette. Babb said the resident exited the home to find a door and the trunk open and with no evidence of forced entry. The vehicle had been rummaged, with nothing stolen.

In Peachtree City, an incident involving young adults using profanity and “mooning” a security guard occurred outside a woman’s clothing store at The Avenue at approximately 9 p.m. on Oct. 2, police reports said.

The complainant told officers some disorderly young adults in the area of the store were being disruptive, and were asked to leave the area. The security staff advised that once they prepared to leave the area, they yelled out profanities and one of the subjects exposed his buttocks to him, according to reports.
