The annual Dragon Boat Festival was held under clear skies and warm temperatures on Sept. 28 at Lake Peachtree.
Sponsored by the Rotary Club of Peachtree City, the event featured 48 teams, including six by Special Olympians.
Dragon boat racing is the world’s fastest-growing, most accessible, and inclusive team sport.
The international festival included a wealth of activities for those of all ages, such as a variety of entertainment, plenty of food and, of course, colorfully-decorated team tents.
