The Fayette County NAACP Youth Council is sponsoring a Juvenile Justice Forum Saturday, Aug. 17, at the Fayette County Library.
An open forum with school officials, law enforcement, and legal representatives, the objective of the program is to help students understand more about the juvenile justice system, laws that can impact their lives, and good behaviors, disciplines, and respect which lead to successful outcomes.
The program will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is for middle and high school students and parents. A free lunch will be served at noon.
