The Bank of America building at Northlake Drive and Ga. Highway 54 in Peachtree City will be getting a new look. Plans were approved on June 11 by the Peachtree City Planning Commission.

The building was previously approved for re-siding with a combination of brick, stone and cementitious board and a new gutter system on the north and south sides.

Commissioners on June 11 approved the removal of the roof cap projections on the east and west sides of the building, removal of the flared roof projections over the west side pedestrian entrances and the removal of windows above the doors, to be replaced with siding.

The June 11 commission approval was conditional on the bank providing a sample of the stone for review and approval by city planners.
