The preliminary plat for a proposed 20-home residential development along Ga. Highway 54 East in Fayetteville was approved May 22 by the Fayetteville Planning and Zoning Commission.
The 6-acre site on the north side of Hwy. 54 East and Rosewood Drive will be the site of 20 detached single-family lots of 50 feet in width.
Lots will be accessed by a 12-foot alley to provide vehicular access to rear-facing garages.
Commissioners decided to table the item in March so that renderings showing garages on the rear could be provided.
In other action, the development plan for two 5,000 sq. ft. warehouse office buildings on Promenade Parkway off Ga. Highway 85 North gained approval on May 22 from the Fayetteville Planning and Zoning Commission.
