It was a good result for four local teams this week in the boys’ brackets of the GHSA state soccer tournament.
After their second-round wins, they will return to the field May 5 for quarterfinal matches.
East Coweta defeated Etowah and will play at Lambert.
Starr’s Mill defeated Thomas County Central and will play at Carrollton.
McIntosh defeated Veterans and will host Grady.
Whitewater defeated South Effingham and will play at Decatur.
Sandy Creek lost to Blessed Trinity.
