The preliminary plat for a proposed residential development along Ga. Highway 54 East in Fayetteville was tabled by the Planning and Zoning Commission until April to have garage locations addressed.

Project representative Richard Ferry (above in photo) in the Maggie’s Place proposal said the 6-acre site on the north side of Hwy. 54 East and Rosewood Drive would be the site of 21 detached single-family lots of 50 feet in width.

Lots would be accessed by a 12-foot alley to provide vehicular access to rear-loaded garages.

Renderings of the homes showed garages on the front of the homes rather than on the rear.

Commissioners decided to table the item until April so that renderings showing garages on the rear could be provided.
