Cartoon about student activist in ‘poor taste’

Regarding the editorial cartoon in the Wednesday, March 28 paper depicting David Hogg: All I can say is “poor taste.”

It saddens me to think this is the opinion of Mr. McCoy. It also saddens me that the newspaper would print such an inflammatory opinion. Does he, do you, actually think these children want to rally against the 2nd amendment?

Don’t you think they had rather their school had stayed out of the national/world spotlight and that their friends were alive to attend classes and be with friends and family today?

These students did not choose this platform; it was forced upon them. It also angers me that many of these gun-rights people are pro-lifers. What about the right to a safe life after children are born?
