Thomas W. Sheddan, 83, of Fayetteville, Ga., passed away March 14, 2018 with his wife, Sue, by his side.

He was the youngest of six children, born February 23, 1935 in Knoxville, Tenn. to Luora Gould Sheddan and Lillian Elizabeth Wolfe. Tom graduated from East High School, Cleveland, Ohio in June 1953, proudly served in the U.S. Air Force, was a mechanic/foreman for over 60 years and member of Fayetteville First United Methodist Church.  He will be remembered for his sense of humor, woodworking, love of old cars and NASCAR.

Surviving is his wife of 62 years, Sue B. Sheddan, his four children, Thomas Dean Sheddan (Jo Ann), Ida, Ark., Debra Sue McKinley (Tom), Walnut, Calif., Kelly Lynn Roberts (Tom), Bedford, Texas, Leslie Ann Yarden, Fayetteville, Ga., his brother, Robert Sheddan (Liz) of Plainville, Conn., and sister-in-law, Polly Baker Jones (Gary), Knoxville, Tenn.  Also, 8 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his great-grandson Lincoln Patrick Sokolosky.

Buried in Ridgewood Cemetery, Carthage, Tenn.
