Mary Jolene Golden, 82, of Fayetteville passed away at home on March 3, 2018.

She was born on April 19, 1935 in Iuka, Miss. to the late Ruby Elizabeth and Oscar Dave Curtin.  Mary and Chuck were very involved in the restoration of Hopeful Primitive Baptist Church and Cemetery.

Mary is survived by her husband of almost 54 years, Chuck Golden; her son, W. Kelvin Little; her grandchildren, Stephen Little, Stephanie Dixon and Stacey Johnson; six great-grandchildren; and also brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews.

The funeral service was held at 12 p.m. on Friday, March 9, 2018 at Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville Chapel, with Rev. Stephen Little and Rev. Warren Johnson officiating. Burial was at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville, Ga.  The family received friends from 11 a.m. -12 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family lovingly requests donations to Hopeful Primitive Baptist Church and Cemetery, 1247 Ga. 92 North, Fayetteville, Ga. 30214.
