Dawn Cramer, Newnan, stands with the first of many blankets, coats, sweat shirts/pants, socks, flannel shirts, hoodies, and shoes being collected for the Atlanta Homeless Outreach of Christ the King Church, Sharpsburg. Cramer and Rayna Dickerson, Senoia, have been involved in homeless outreach throughout the years on behalf of the CTK congregation. This year the two will be taking items to the men and women who have nowhere to stay except under bridges, in alleyways or in the streets. Items are being gathered at the church between now and New Year’s Day and are being distributed as they arrive. David Epps, pastor, urged the congregation to, “Clean out your closets and bring items for distribution for, ‘Inasmuch as you have done it unto the least of these, my brethern, you have done it unto me.'” Photo/Submitted.
Perhaps The Citizen should be clearer about marking its opinion pieces so readers don't need to get to the fourth…
