Mr. Joseph Gregory (Greg) Vaughn, 65, passed away at his home in Fayetteville on August 1, 2017 surrounded by his family.
Greg was a graduate of Griffin High School and the University of Georgia with a degree in finance and was an avid Bulldog fan. He was an accountant at NCR in Peachtree City for 42 years and a member of Friendship Baptist Church in Milner, Ga.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Edwin Vaughn and his son, Steven and is survived by his wife of 42 years, Pamela McElwaney Vaughn, a son, Bryan Vaughn and his wife Jen, of Newnan and his daughter, April O’Connell and her husband, Tony of Williamson; grandchildren, Tristan, Brayden, Marissa, Bree, Emma, Mylie and Bronson. He is also survived by his mother, Marjorie Vaughn Weldon of Griffin; his sister, Cathy Tyler and brother-in-law, Doug of Marietta and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law.
Funeral services were held Friday, August 4, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Parrott Funeral Home.
