Louise Davis Moseley, a daughter of the late Louise Lasater Davis and James Eaton Davis, died on August 5, 2017 in Peachtree City, Ga.

She was born on November 28, 1937 in Erwin, N.C. Mrs. Moseley grew up and attended schools in Raleigh, N.C. Prior to her marriage she taught ballet, toe and tap dancing for Bedingfield/Leocarte Dance Studio. She danced in performance with Sadler Wells Ballet and was invited to audition for the Rockettes in New York City, which she declined to marry her husband of 61 years, William Russell Moseley. She served as both a Deacon and an Elder in the Presbyterian Church and was awarded Life Membership in the Presbyterian Women.

Mrs. Moseley is survived by her husband; two sons and one daughter and their spouses; William Russell Moseley and Melonie Coats Moseley of Jacksonville, Fla., James David Moseley and Erin Stephenson Moseley of Durham, N.C., and Katharine Moseley Foster and Joseph Anthony Foster of Decatur; and her two grandchildren, William Russell Moseley, III and Meredith Worth Moseley.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at Evergreen Church, 400 Wingate Road, Peachtree City, Ga. 30269.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests a memorial be made to Evergreen Church, or a charity of your choice.
