An East Point woman was charged with aggravated assault in a July 23 incident at the Fayette Pavilion.

Alancea Moore, 23, was charged with aggravated assault and cited for no insurance, according to Fayetteville Police Department spokesman Mike Whitlow.

Whitlow said a 24-year-old driver was turning left onto Pavilion Parkway and was cut off in traffic by Moore.

The victim subsequently pulled beside Moore and told her to slow down, said Whitlow, adding that Moore responded, saying, “F- you, b–. You don’t tell me what to do.”

Whitlow said the victim continued driving on the parkway, but Moore caught up with her at another stop sign and pulled a pink handgun. Moore then yelled, “What if I shoot you right now. I will kill you.”

At that point the victim called 911, Whitlow said.

Moore then exited her vehicle, spit on the victim’s vehicle and shoved a rear mirror, said Whitlow.

Whitlow said Moore then returned to her vehicle while the victim stayed on the phone with 911. An officer located Moore’s vehicle based on a description provided by the victim and she was subsequently stopped and taken into custody, Whitlow said.
