Viern Leroy Richardson, 92, of Peachtree City, passed away July 18, 2017.

He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp during World War II.  Mr. Richardson spent 37 years as a principal in the Lake Central School System in St. John, Ind.

Mr. Richardson was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Violetta Richardson.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Richardson; sons, Michael (Debra) Richardson; Kim (Susan) Richardson; Scott (Diane) Richardson; grandchildren, Mikey (Kacy); Erin (Taylor), Susanne,  Sarah; great-grandchildren, Parks, Marlee, Finn, Jack, Alice; and brother, Earl Richardson.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the Peachtree City United Methodist Church, Peachtree City, with Reverend Sean Robinson officiating. The family will host a gathering for friends immediately following the service at the church.

The family requests no flowers, but if you desire, contributions can be made to the Peachtree City United Methodist Memorial Fund, or the Fayette Samaritans.
