Cathryn Redwine Stephens of Fayetteville passed away on July 10, 2017 at the age of 76.

Born to Cathryn and Harry H. Redwine on January 19, 1941, Cathryn was loved by family, friends and the city itself.  As a life-long member of Fayetteville First United Methodist Church, Cathryn’s faithfulness to the church and its community will always be remembered.

Cathryn was preceded in death by her mother and father and nephew, Earl Stephens.  She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Mack (O.M.); two children, Harriett (Jim Bankston) and Thomas (Lisa); four grandchildren, Kwynn (Christopher Everest), Annie, Morgan and Wyatt; brother, Harry H. “Hutch” Redwine, Jr. (Penny); nieces, Blanche (Douglas Huddleston) and Stacy Stanley; great-nieces, Kaydie and Laney; and a very special friend, Linda Stinchcomb.

The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, July 13, 2017 at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Gary Parrish and Rev. John Barnes officiating.  Burial will follow the service at Fayetteville City Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday evening, July 12, 2017 at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville.

In lieu of flowers, pleased consider a memorial donation to Fayetteville First United Methodist Church, Alexander-Tharpe Fund at Georgia Institute of Technology or Brenau University.
