Lee Bailey, 64, of Peachtree City, passed away on June 22, 2017. He was born in Indianapolis, Ind., to Bruce Bailey and the late Jean Bailey.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn, daughter Brandi Meeks (Brian) and son Kenneth Stone (Tuzi) and sisters Judy Noland (Keith), Linda Burcham (Gary) and Sharon Hays (Michael). One of Lee’s greatest joys was being Papo to Ian, Camryn, Lexie and Logan.
Lee was part of the original faculty at Sandy Creek High School in charge of technology and coaching cross country and track. He retired from the Fayette County Board of Education as the system’s network and security administrator. After retirement, he was an active volunteer with Fayette Samaritans, our local food bank.
Friends and family will gather at the Bailey home on Saturday, July 1, between 2 and 4 to remember Lee. This is a casual, happy event.
