A Fayetteville man has been charged with child molestation and sodomy in relation to incidents involving two juveniles.
Ricky M. Bullington, 63, of Hibiscus Trail, was charged with child molestation, sodomy and sexual battery, according to Fayette County Jail records.
Fayetteville Police Department spokesman Mike Whitlow said the charges stem from Bullington’s involvement with two juveniles.
The incidents were said to have occurred in December 2015, though were not reported to authorities until earlier this year.
“That’s not at all unusual in this type of case,” Whitlow said of the time lapse. “Victims often suppress the incident.”
Whitlow said the investigation into the crimes is ongoing.
