John Thomas Gasper, 87, of Fayetteville passed away May 21, 2017.
John was preceded in death by his wife, Anna Mae Cossman Gasper; sons, John Gasper, Jr. and Bruce Gasper.
He is survived by his daughters, Jacqualyn (Dr. Earl) Walker and Ann (Larry Painter) Abbott; sons, Paul (Dixie) Gasper and Mark (Donna) Gasper; twenty-four grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Deering; sister-in-law, Minnie Gasper; and special friend, Ms. Lou Smith of Conway, Ark.
A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 10 a.m. at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, Fayetteville, with Father Richard Vu officiating. Burial will follow at College Park Cemetery, College Park. The family received friends on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, from 6 – 8 p.m. at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Rosary took place at 7:30 p.m.
