Debra Yvonne Tilley Schultz passed away on May 20th, 2017 after a short illness.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, May 25th at H.M. Patterson & Son, Oglethorpe Hill, 4550 Peachtree Rd. NE, Brookhaven, Ga. 30319. The funeral will follow at 11 a.m.
Debra was born in Morganton N.C. She was a flight attendant in the late 50’s in Miami, where she met her husband, George Henry Schultz. They moved to the Atlanta area in 1968, residing primarily in Peachtree City, Ga. Debra moved to Buckhead in 1998 after the death of her husband, where she continued to work as a realtor and was a lifetime member of the Million Dollar Club. Debra was a beautiful, kind woman who was always a lady. Her elegant sense of style was reflected in the way she dressed and how she decorated the Neel Reid carriage house she loved.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George Henry Schultz, her mother, Rispy Ann Tilley, her father, Loy Ashby Tilley, and her sisters, Patricia Tilley and Jo Ann Smith.
She is survived by her sister, Nancy Carolene Stamey, her son, Gregory George Schultz, and her daughter, Jill Schultz McGannon. She also has four grandchildren, Gregory George Schultz, Jr., James Gaston Schultz, William Wyant Schultz, and Annabel Iris McGannon and three nieces and nephews, Michael Ashby Smith, Pamela Ann Kucab, and David Loy Stamey.
She will be greatly missed by family and friends alike. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Northpoint Church at www.northpoint.org.
