Alice Rosamond, 87, of Newnan, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2017. She was born on October 31, 1929 to the late Jackson and Lida Yarbrough in Roopville, Georgia.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Henry Thomas Rosamond Sr.; siblings, Annie Ruth Thaxton, Joyce Gore, Jean Mullins, Pauline Turman, Gordon Yarbrough, Ford Yarbrough and Billy Thaxton. Alice is survived by her daughter, Sandra Justice; son, Henry Thomas Rosamond Jr.; granddaughter, Adrienne Shelton; grandson, Sean Rosamond; and great grandson, Nolan Shelton.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, May, 15, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, Georgia. Reverend Dan Hale will be officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Garden, College Park, Georgia.
