Leverne Mask, 83, passed away Saturday April 22, 2017 at her home in Fayetteville, Ga. with her family by her side.
She was born September 27, 1933 in Fayetteville, Ga. to Sarah Emma and Jones Harvey Couch. Leverne was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to so many. Her love was cooking and taking care of everyone she knew.
Leverne is preceded in death by her son Teddy; her parents, Harvey and Emma Couch; her siblings, Edna (Billy) Barber, Ferrell Couch, Bradley Couch, and Donna McClendon.
Leverne is survived by her husband of 64 years, Joe; her sister-in-law, Betty Couch; her brother-in-law, Buddy McClendon; her children, Bruce (Myra) Mask, Judy (Brian) Huth; her grandchildren, Jennifer Mask, Amy (Sammy) Chason, Corey (Kristy) Mask, Brandon (Brandi) Mask, Alex (Adam) Moore, Blake (Jessie) Mask, and Clancy Mask; her great-grandchildren, Sam, Ansley, Austin, Madison, Grace, Hannah, Hunter, Adyson, Harrison, Joley, and Jackson; and also numerous nieces, nephews, and countless precious friends.
Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Mowell Funeral Home. Fayetteville Chapel. Burial immediately followed the service at Inman UMC Cemetery. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, April 24, 2017 at the funeral home.
