A Warner Robbins man was arrested on March 27 near Ga. Highway 279 on charges of felony marijuana possession and possession of a gun stolen from Coweta County.

Kimani R. Dudley, 26, of Warner Robbins, was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm by a felon, obstruction, possession of Schedule II substances, more than an ounce of marijuana and possession of a firearm dring the commission of a crime, according to Sheriff Barry Babb.

Tedriauna D. Randall, 17, address unknown, was charged with possession of Schedule II substances and misdemeanor marijuana, said Babb.

Babb said deputies at approximately 3:45 p.m. approached a vehicle at a vacant residence with two people inside, adding that a male subject fled as deputies approached. The man was subsequently chased and caught, Babb added.

Deputies searched the vehicle after detecting a strong smell of marijuana. The search revealed three ounces of suspected marijuana, a stolen gun from Coweta County, a number of Schedule II pills and fraudulent checks, said Babb.

Dudley and Randall were taken into custody and transported to the Fayette County Jail.
